Monday, March. 9th.

Well there never being a dull moment around here-this is a picture of what happen tonight across the street from our house. This is an 68 foot barge, used locally for helping keep the rivers clean of debris around here for the last couple of years, and for some reason it just sank into the Black River! Coast Guard and everybody was out there! It is leaking about 500 gallons of Gas and other waste into the water(hence Coast Guard) It has been docked there for the winter. If you look up at the top of the picture, you will see the back of the building that I worked in for the last 15 years,(Mercury Marine Repair Shop(Port Huron Marine Service) before I got laid-off 1.5 years ago.
Those steel rails are the beginning of boat houses that are being built there, owned by Port Huron Marine Service. This all happened after dark, so had to wait until next morning to get the pictures(Robin took them).
